Our Community:

The District is comprised of New Hope Borough and Solebury Township of Bucks County, located in eastern Pennsylvania, with a total population approaching 10,500.  There are 1,450 students in grades K-12 that are educated in the District’s lower elementary school, upper elementary school, middle school, and high school.

This picturesque, rural, and historic area borders the Delaware River and is highly sought after for its commuter proximity and multi-cultural opportunities offered by the nearby Philadelphia, New York City, and Princeton areas. The community has many quaint towns with unique shops, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and antique emporiums, as well as youth sport leagues, a public library, and a community school offering adult education courses to residents.

Position Requirements:

• PA Letter of Eligibility

• Excellent academic credentials (doctorate beneficial)

• K-12 experience as a teacher, school leader, and central office administrator

• Curriculum and instructional experience at all levels of education with an expertise in how children learn

The successful candidate will have expertise in understanding how all students learn – including those in gifted and special education – and will lead our vision for holistic, child-centered instructional programs.
• Continuous Improvement - We seek a superintendent who understands the complexities of leading a small school district. The successful candidate will have a commitment to continuous improvement in academics, safety, diversity, operations, and finance.

Compensation:
